morning all. i can’t believe it’s already the middle of july. where is 2012 going, seriously? a lot of stuff is happening over the next couple months, so forgive me if the next few blogs are a bit scattered.
i got lasik eye surgery last week….and it WORKED! i am recovering nicely and healing fast. i still have to wear a ridiculous mask covering my eyes at night and my sister @mollyalynch recently a pic of that to the world. thanks, mol.
this wednesday, the 18th, is my birthday! i will officially be on the backslide of my twenties at 26. i know, can’t believe it. i’ve got a lot of different feelings about that. excited to celebrate this week though :).
yesterday i got to sing with a beautiful lady, Ms. Candi Pearson-Shelton. i grew up singing her songs in church, so it was really an honor to get to know her and sing with her yesterday at Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. she is an amazing worship leader and singer. thanks, Candi for the hang!
okay i’m feeling a little distracted this morning so i’m gonna cut this a little short. y’all have a wonderful week and don’t forget to send me some birthday love on WEDNESDAY! :))) shameless. but it really does make me feel good to get Happy Birthday messages from old elementary school friends on facebook that i haven’t talked to in 10 years. ha!
